Since arriving in Pennsylvania, there have been activities and events every weekend to enjoy and build community.  There are fairs and celebrations, fundraisers and meetings, and one thing I have noticed, is they are all centered on making these small townships and communities great places to live.

 

The Mifflinburg Heritage & Revitalization Association organizes this yearly event, celebrating the German Heritage of the community.  There are hay rides, German food vendors, Polka music, various dance troops, kegs of beer from Germany, and commemorative mugs for everyone to enjoy.
